
TCO Fly Tying: The Caddis life cycle: Nymph, Emerger and Dry with Kyle Curry
The Caddis fly is found in nearly all PA trout waters and is a top hatch for trout. Come join Kyle Curry, TCO Bryn Mawr staff member and Relentless Fly Fishing guide as he takes you through the Caddis life cycle covering the entire water column by tying a nymph, emerger and dry fly. You should have a basic understanding of fly tying for this class.

All tying materials will be provided for students to use but bring your favorite vise and tools.

Class is designed for the fly tyer with a knowledge of fly tying.

You will learn about proportions so that the finished fly looks and acts appropriately on the water.

We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.

You will leave the class equipped with the skills needed to expand the craft and fill your fly box.
Patterns: Nymph: caddis puppa/waltz worm, Emerger: snowshoe emerger and Dry fly: Corn fed caddis/ Elk hair caddis
