TCO Fly Tying Class: Intro To Steelhead Flies With Mike Rosa - Part 2
Join us for this second installment of our Steelhead series. Even if you missed our first session that’s ok because the Steelhead season is here! You will gain hands-on experience tying some of the most productive Steelhead flies we know and learning more about fishing for the Chromers.
-
All tying materials will be provided for students to use but bring your favorite vise and tools.
-
We've carefully chosen a set of steelhead specific fly patterns that will help you understand a range of fundamental techniques and patterns.
-
You will learn about proportions so that the finished fly looks and acts appropriately on the water.
-
We will explore a variety of the materials that we stock in our fly shop, so that you become familiar with how they are used.
-
The class will include tips and tricks that will make the fly-tying process more enjoyable.
-
You will leave the class equipped with the skills needed to expand the craft.
Your instructor, Tyler Potts has been with TCO since 2021 but has been chasing Steelhead on the Ontario tibs for a lot longer. Come and learn from the best.
