What is your favorite place you have fly fished? (Near or Far)
Some of my favorite fly fishing has been in the alpine lakes of the high desert.
What music is being played on your way to the stream?
When I'm driving to the creek I love to listen to a local band called Bearsloth.
Besides fly fishing, what other outdoor activities do you enjoy?
Other than fly fishing I like bird watching and hunting with my dog.
Sam's Bio
I grew up in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, and have been playing in the woods as long as I can remember. I did a ton of backpacking with the boy scouts growing up but only fished conventional gear casually until college. After college, I worked as a backcountry ranger and wildlife biologist for a few years with some farm and factory work in between until finding a way to pursue fly fishing as a career.
