Fishing Overview

The Little J is in great shape today, rain from last night bumped flows in a good way. Tan Caddis and BWO have been on the menu when fishing on top. Sulphurs should be good this coming week. Nymphing the slower glides and edges in riffles should provide good action as fish have moved to springtime water.

General Info

Specific Tips

The Little J fish seem to love green anything, whether that be a streamer, a hotspot on a nymph, or the nymph itself. Fish are packed into riffles and runs throughout the day eagerly feeding on nymphs, so target these areas with your preferred nymphing strategy. Early seasons hatches on the Little J tend to occur in the early to mid-afternoon, but shift toward the evening as the season progresses.
